Sopan Jain
Director
Sopan Jain co-founded Qcounting with a clear vision of delivering cost-effective solutions to accountancy firms and SMEs within Australia. Recognizing the expansion challenges these businesses face, Sopan wanted to use his experience to deliver realistic solutions, without the burden of increasing operational costs.
Sopan’s areas of expertise include a wide range of client services within the accounting industry including bookkeeping, management accounting, taxation (corporate taxes, GST and employment taxes) and reporting. He has designed financial transformation programs for Fortune 500 companies to focus on scalability, cost reduction and automation. His client testimony reflects his work ethics, professionalism and commitment.
Sopan is a member of CA ANZ with an MBA (Finance) from ISB in India and more than a decade of experience working with Deloitte in Australia and the US. He graduated in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Monash University.
Surya Shetty
Director
Surya Shetty has over 10 years’ experience working in senior roles, specializing in finance and the service industry. He’s managed operations in Australia, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and India enabling large organisations improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, by leveraging an inexpensive operating model to assist with non-core business activities.
During his tenure in Melbourne, Brisbane and India, Surya used his considerable experience to improve processes and leverage account outsourcing to gain cost efficiency, scalability and business simplification for Telstra.
